to the inaugural celebrations of the
Thousand Hills International University and Conference Center
October 18- 20, 2024
Celebrating the Realization of a Dream!
We are thrilled to announce by faith, the long-awaited inauguration of the Thousand Hills University (THIU) Conference Center, a monumental achievement marking the culmination of years of dedication, perseverance, and unwavering faith. It is by faith because we are still raising $123,000 to complete the building.
A Journey of Perseverance: The dream for Thousand Hills University was conceived over eight years ago, with the vision of fostering education, empowerment, and spiritual growth within the community. However, this journey has been marked by numerous challenges, including construction delays attributed to the global pandemic, weather-related setbacks, permitting hurdles, and fluctuations in material costs. Despite these obstacles, the spirit of determination and resilience prevailed, guiding us towards this momentous occasion.
Save the Date: We invite you to join us for two days of jubilation and reflection on October 18th and 19th, 2024. The festivities will encompass a variety of events, including praise and prayer sessions, a grand ribbon-cutting ceremony, and the official dedication of the THIU Conference Center and its envisioned purpose. Guests will also have the opportunity to explore the newly constructed facility through guided tours and engage in discussions regarding the future ministries to be housed within its walls, as well as proposed expansions to further enhance its impact.
Empowering Leadership: Preceding the inauguration celebration, a pastoral leadership conference conducted by Living Word Fellowship Church, Houston, will be held during the week, providing invaluable insights and resources to equip leaders for the journey ahead. Additionally, we are thrilled to announce the presentation of certificates to a graduating class, marking a significant milestone in their educational journey.
Continuing the Momentum: Following the inaugural celebrations, a Back to the Bible conference on the Book of Ephesians in Rwanda and a seminar on leadership among the Maasai in Kenya will take place, further enriching attendees with knowledge and strategies to strengthen their ministries and communities. Additionally, a conversation will be led by Reverend Bethke and his team, concerning a North-South Partnership for Mutual Enrichment.
Join Us: All supporters of TLAfrica are warmly invited and encouraged to participate in any portion of the two-week celebration. Whether you choose to volunteer at one of the conferences, attend the THIU inauguration celebration, or join us for both, your presence and support are invaluable as we embark on this new chapter together.
Let’s Celebrate Together: As we come together to celebrate the inauguration of the THIU Conference Center, we reflect on the power of unity, faith, and perseverance in realizing our collective dreams. We look forward to your presence as we commemorate this historic milestone and chart a course towards a brighter future.
Warm Regards,
Faustin Ntamushabora,
CEO, TLAfrica
