LIFE-CHANGING EDUCATION

A new higher-education development project with the same philosophy of holistic transformation as the Pastoral Leadership Institute. The university will be located in Musanze, Rwanda with students traveling a short distance from nearby countries. Classes will initially use the Pastoral Leadership Institute training center facilities.

NEED FOR EDUCATION: RWANDANS WITH A DEGREE =

THIU MISSION

To develop leaders, managers, professionals, researchers and scholars through a mode of education that integrates faith, life and learning so that they may be transformed and empowered to impact churches, communities, and the world.

THIU LOCATION

Thousand Hills International University will be located on 15 acres of land already acquired in Musanze, Rwanda. Classes will begin using the PLI training center facilities until the second phase of building planning is initiated. The land is strategically located within a thirty minute drive to South Western Uganda, two hours to Eastern Congo and eight hours to Burundi. Because of the proximity to these nations, our academic programs and community initiatives will impact people in these areas.

Musanze is the second largest city in Rwanda and significant in growth and development for the nation. Neighboring the land is a proposed international airport.

THIU VISION

To see generations of leaders holistically transformed to impact Africa and the whole world through servant leadership.
