During the bloody genocide in Rwanda in 1994, over 800,000 Rwandans were murdered. At the time, 82 percent of the population identified themselves as Christians. It was apparent Africa needed devoted disciples of Christ to be servant leaders in their communities and bring change for the next generation.

Today, grassroots pastors in east Africa lack resources and access to education. Without pay, it's difficult to minister to their villages and support their families. In fact, the suffering is so hard, 9 out of 10 pastors in the DR Congo are nearing retirement with no one to replace them!

I've teamed up with TLAfrica to empower African leaders through effective teaching and mentoring by equipping them with knowledge, skills, and resources for Christ-like leadership.

How do they help? TLAfrica runs several holistic training programs including a Pastoral Leadership Institute, women's empowerment programs, youth empowerment initiatives, and are currently building a formal Christian training center in Rwanda.
